Shaped Through the Wilderness | The Exodus Journey

Life is a journey—and sometimes it feels like a wilderness. In this series, we’re walking with the Israelites through the book of Exodus as they leave slavery behind and learn to trust God in the unknown. Despite their complaining, disobedience, and fear, God remains faithful—providing, guiding, forgiving, and shaping them along the way.

Just like them, we face challenges, doubts, and moments of struggle. But their story reminds us that God is with us, shaping us through the wilderness seasons of life. Join us each week as we learn what it means to seek God first, trust Him daily, and lift our eyes on the journey.

Are you resisting or welcoming that process?

Seek His Ways | Mike Stevens

Scripture Reading

Exodus 19-24

(Do you intentionally create space for rest and spiritual renewal? Why or why not?)

Study 5

When we Seek the Wrong Thing | Michelle Stevens

Questions

1. Where in your life have you found yourself going back on a promise or commitment to God—either in big or subtle ways?

How did that impact your relationship with God or others?

2. The Israelites turned to a golden calf when they were afraid, impatient, or felt leaderless. What “golden calves” or idols are you tempted to turn to when life feels uncertain or God seems distant?
