Quench Café

This year Quench turns 10 and we’re looking to set it up for the next 10 years by refurbishing and upgrading.

Our playground is older than we are and needs refurbishing to keep it safe and looking fresh. The playground is a big draw card for people in our community and gives us the opportunity greet many people with the love of Jesus.

We now have a team of over 40 volunteers, including people from the community developing job ready skills. We have reached the limit of what our kitchen can do, and an upgrade is needed to improve workflow and capacity.

H4H home stream will go to renewing the Quench playground and kitchen so we can continue to provide a welcoming and safe environment where people can experience community and the love of Jesus.

Our Backyard

Pathway Community Centre (tax-deductible)

We are excited to fully finish all renovations at Pathway. Important details like signage, cupboards, finishing the reception area, as well as completing the installation of the security system.

We would love to be able to complete the staff room with a kitchenette as well as repair and upgrade the staff toilets. The other area we are passionate about is bringing holistic assistance to meet our clients' needs through running courses that are based on Biblical principles and address root issues in their lives. A Domestic Violence support group, a parenting course, and a support group for people battling with depression and anxiety. We would also like to be able to subsidise counselling for a small number of clients and volunteers that we are journeying with.

We ask you to prayerfully consider investing in the ongoing growth of Pathway Community Centre, as well as investing in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our community.

Our World

Baptist World Aid (tax-deductible)

Continuing our relationship with Baptist World Aid, our next step in seeing the Kapilvastu people released from poverty by 2030 is to invest in local leadership development. The goal is to see hundreds of communities empowered into a flourishing future through local leadership development. This is a crucial next step to see Kapilvastu released from poverty.Faith Target: $50,000
