We're so glad you've made a decision to follow Jesus, and we would love to connect with you at
Easter is a fun weekend full of hot cross buns and chocolate eggs. But did you know, there is a much deeper meaning to this time of year?
This Easter, we invite you to discover the true story of Easter. It’s a true story, all about Jesus.
Jesus is God’s son and he is fully divine. He came to earth in the form of a man to save us.
Over 2000 years ago, God gave us Jesus - his birth fulfilled many promises that God had made to his people over many centuries. Jesus came to us and lived perfectly according to God’s design.
In His 30s, Jesus began teaching about God, performing miracles like healing the sick, casting out demons, and even raising the dead. He showed love to all, drew large crowds, and inspired many to follow His way of life.
On Good Friday, we remember Jesus’ death. Though innocent, He was sentenced to die on a cross—part of God’s plan to take on our sin and shame. His death paid the price we couldn’t.
We live in a broken world, surrounded by broken lives, relationships and systems. We see this all around us and in our own lives as well. Brokenness is the result of sin - the things that people have done and will do, that hurt ourselves, others and God. Brokenness leads to a place of realizing a need for something greater.
Because of his love, God did not leave us in our brokenness. He gave us Jesus.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
John 3:16-17
On Easter Sunday, we celebrate that Jesus was raised to new life! He did not stay dead. After 3 days, some of Jesus’ friends went to visit his tomb. But the door was open, and he wasn’t there (Luke 20:11-16)
Jesus was raised from the dead to provide the only way for us to be rescued and restored to a relationship with God.
Simply hearing about this new life, is not enough. We don’t have the power to escape the brokenness on our own.
We need to admit our sinful brokenness and ask God to forgive us – turning from sin to trust completely in Jesus. This is what it means to repent and believe.
Believing, we receive the gift of new life through Jesus and God turns our lives in a new direction.
By receiving this gift of new life through Jesus, God restores our relationship to Him. We begin to discover meaning and purpose in a broken world. Now we can pursue God’s design in all areas of our lives. And even when we fall, we understand God’s pathway to be restored – turning to Jesus.
When we invite Jesus to come in and lead our lives, when we make Him our Saviour and Lord, we are then filled with the Holy Spirit – the presence of God. God’s spirit empowers us to pursue His design and assures us of His presence in this life and for all eternity.

Jesus is both God and man, who came to Earth to rescue us from the brokenness in our lives and world. As the Son of God, He lived among us over 2000 years ago and showed love to all people.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16
We live in a broken world, surrounded by broken lives, relationships and systems. This is seen in suffering, violence, poverty, and pain around us. Brokenness is the result of sin - the things that people have done and will do, that hurt ourselves, others and God.
God does not leave us in our brokenness, but sent his son Jesus to restore us. Jesus did for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He took our sin and shame to the cross, paying the penalty of our sin by His death. Jesus was then raised from the dead to provide the only way for us to be rescued and restored to a relationship with God.
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
John 3:17
Simply hearing who Jesus is, is not enough. We need to admit our sinful brokenness, ask for forgiveness, and place our trust in Him. You can do this simply by praying these words.
"Dear Jesus, Thank you for who you are and that you love me. I recognise that because of my sin, I need you and I ask you to forgive me. I believe you came to live, die, and rise again from the dead to rescue me from my sin. I choose to make you my Lord and Savior, and to follow you. In Jesus' name, Amen."
